I am an NYC based writer, specializing in food journalism, playwriting, songwriting, and poetry. I’m also, oddly and unexpectedly, known for a viral tweet about Santa’s (female) reindeer.

I graduated early from Fordham University in the fall of 2018, where I earned a degree in English with a concentration in Creative Writing, with minors in Journalism and Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies.

My professional experience varies from publishing, public relations, theater management,  and education. I have a number of interests, represented by my diverse work; however, writing is not only an interest of mine, but integral to who I am. Be it through serving as a writer, editor, and even a reader, I discover something new through language everyday.

Over the past year, I have also developed a passion for all things food and cooking. I recently started my blog and Instagram, The Book Cook NY, which combines my love of literature and food in a new and exciting way.

If you’re interested in reading/hearing any of my work, navigate the tabs at the top of this page for my selected portfolio in various disciplines.
If you’re interested in discussing any Big Ideas (or if you want me to knit you a scarf–I’m a pretty average knitter), be sure to reach out.
